2001 Velich Trockenbeerenauslese Welschriesling 375ml
Welschriesling is a white-wine grape variety grown throughout central and eastern Europe. It is most notorious for its neutrality, as it makes largely light, uninteresting white wines with high acidity.

Rich and syrupy yet not overly heavy, this unctuous dessert wine boasts aromas and flavors of honeyed nuts, dried apricots and orange marmalade. Long and sweet on the finish, with enough sugar to stand up to fairly sweet desserts, although it might be at its best with blue cheese.
