1988 Domaine Vaquer Cuvee Fernand Vaquer, IGP Cotes Catalanes

It is a tender wine, very supple, well in Fernand’s style. It is composed of 80% Carignan, 20% Grenache Noir, vinified and then matured for two years in cement vats. There is a structure at first, but after this long evolution, the tannins are very melted. If it remains in the mouth, it is more due to the aromas of leather and candied fruit than to the structure.
